I. Purpose of Services
Abide in the Vine Counseling, PLLC offers professional mental health counseling services to clients located in the state of Texas. Services are offered through in-person and a secure tele-health platform.
A counseling relationship is established only after:
Completion of the intake process, and
Review and electronic acknowledgment of the Informed Consent, Office Policies, and HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices through the practice’s secure client portal.
Website content does not replace or supersede clinical intake documentation. Clients must be physically located in the state of Texas at the time of session.

We are committed to maintaining your privacy in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and professional ethical standards. Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded through secure platforms, encrypted communications, and limited access protocols.

V. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
Attending scheduled appointments on time.
Providing accurate, honest information during the counseling process.
Actively participating in their own therapeutic journey.
Understanding that results vary and no specific outcome is guaranteed.
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a late cancelation fee.

VI. Telehealth Services
Telehealth sessions are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms. Clients must have access to a private, distraction-free space and a stable internet connection. Informed consent specific to telehealth is required before beginning virtual services.

VII. Social Media & Digital Boundaries
We do not engage with current or former clients through personal social media accounts. Public interactions (e.g., “likes” or comments) on professional pages may compromise confidentiality and are discouraged. Social media is not a method for clinical contact, crisis intervention, or appointment scheduling.

VIII. Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted payment methods may include credit/debit cards and HSA/FSA cards. Superbills may be provided upon request for clients who wish to seek reimbursement from their insurance.
Sliding Fee Scale
Abide in the Vine Counseling, PLLC offers a limited number of reduced-rate sessions based on financial need through a sliding fee scale. Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis and may require documentation of income. Availability is not guaranteed and must be discussed prior to beginning services.⸻
IX. Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, clients have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the expected cost of services. This estimate will be provided upon request or during the intake process and does not obligate continued service.
